FMC reinforces partnership with cotton farmers on the 16th Cotton Day

Company highlights the importance of developing culture in the country

AGOPA (Goiana Association of Cotton Producers) is holding on June 14th, the 16th edition of the traditional cotton farming event in the state of Goiás: Cotton Day, which this year brings the theme "Knowledge and technology, the key to strengthening of cotton". The field day takes place at Fazenda Rancho Velho, headquarters of the Goiano Institute of Agriculture (IGA), in Montividiu-GO.

At the technical stations, participants will have the opportunity to update their knowledge on cultivar performance; Soil health and agricultural sustainability; Cotton management for high productivity and fiber quality; and Monitoring and management of nematodes in large areas.

On this occasion, the company presents a portfolio of integrated solutions for the management of the main pests, diseases and weed control. Presence nematicide, a biological product for seed treatment, indicated for the management of nematodes; the Profit herbicide, for pre-emergence weed control; and Benevia insecticides, with high efficiency against whiteflies and a broad spectrum of action, also controlling caterpillars; Premio, which contributes to the establishment of the culture, keeping the caterpillars at controlled levels; and Avatar, which acts to control caterpillars.

In addition to these solutions, solutions for abiotic problems will also be demonstrated, such as the CROP+ product, from the Fertis line, a biostimulant that enhances the plant's defenses, allowing it to better resist abiotic stresses that affect productive efficiency and production quality.
