Between the 10th and 13th of July, the Comando Nematoide project will carry out visits to sugarcane properties in the São Paulo cities of São José do Rio Preto (10th and 11th) and Araçatuba (12th and 13th). The FMC Agricultural Solutions initiative aims to provide training and technical information to producers on the prevention and effective control of nematodes. In partnership with DMLab, a reference company in nematological analysis, the company set up a mobile laboratory with the necessary technologies to provide the best practices and tools for effective pest management.

Launched during InsectShow, the project will share specialized technical content with producers, helping them with integrated pest management. Along the way, technical events will be held to address relevant topics on nematode management, such as the best soil and root collection methodologies, presentation of the main nematode genera and their possible damage to crops and the best tools for integrated pest control. .

In addition to sugarcane cultivation, the Nematoide Command will pass through the main agricultural centers producing soybeans, corn, cotton, beans and coffee. 10 states and more than 100 cities will be covered in approximately one year. “At all meetings, technical material will be made available with a booklet on the pest and its management, informative articles and videos. This content will be on an exclusive hotsite and application, where it will also be possible to register to participate in events, follow the mobile laboratory visit itinerary, clarify doubts and send notifications”, comments FMC Product Manager, Vinicios Faria.
