Soybean planting is completed in RS and production potential continues to be affected by drought
4% of the cultivated area is already maturing, another 44% in grain filling, 37% in flowering and 15% still in germination and vegetative development
FMC, an agricultural science company, participates in the Bom Jesus Cooperative Field Day, which takes place between the 16th and 18th of February, in the municipality of Lapa, in Paraná, to present innovations for soybean, corn and bean crops , ranging from planting to harvesting, through high-quality products for crop protection.
"FMC, aligned with its purpose, has efficient and sustainable solutions for the field. Therefore, we will present our product portfolio as well as our TOGETHER producer relationship program, which the producer can count on throughout the 21/22 harvest", comments Pedro Ferzola, Southern Regional Marketing Manager at FMC.
With the FMC TEM campaign, the company presents partnerships and solutions through the JUNTOS Produtor program. Through the program, registered participants, when purchasing the company's products, accumulate points, which can be exchanged for products and services. Furthermore, to be at the producer's side and help with crop management decisions, FMC will also present technologies related to weed management and insecticide options, due to the control period for insects in crops.
The municipality of Lapa, which is located in the Central-South region of Paraná, mainly pays special attention to weed management. Therefore, in the experimental field, the company will demonstrate pre-harvest desiccation management with Aurora, as well as the use of Stone herbicide for pre-emergence management. The farmer will also be able to observe the results of targeted management for bedbugs with Hero and Talisman, to control the leafhopper.
Concerned with being present throughout the entire crop cycle, FMC has Talisman, for managing soybeans and corn, as it acts throughout the stink bug cycle, including eggs, nymphs and adults, with a residual effect, suitable for other applications , having a control effect not only for the green-bellied stink bug, as well as for the corn leafhopper, due to its great potential for control and elimination. In single management, FMC has Hero, which controls the pest by walking and contact. Participants will also be able to learn about the benefits of management technologies for pests, diseases and weeds, such as the Stone pre-emergent herbicide used to control weeds in soybeans from the beginning, even the most difficult ones, leaving a clear path to productivity ; and Aurora, a post-emergent contact herbicide, which acts as an important tool to improve the performance of herbicides, enhancing crop management and promoting weed resistance management. In addition to the Premio insecticide, the producer's greatest ally against Spodoptera losses in soybeans and Bt corn, providing crop protection for longer.

In addition to favoring fruit infections caused by the fungus that causes the disease, these more intense rainy periods can also compromise control efficiency, as well as the protection program adopted on citrus farms.
