FMC announces new commercial director for the western region

Alexandre Mezzomo de Paula will be responsible for commercial operations in the states of Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul and Rondônia

FMC announced the hiring of Alexandre Mezzomo de Paula as commercial director for the western region. The executive will be responsible for commercial operations in the states of Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul and Rondônia, strategic areas for the company due to their relevance in Brazilian agribusiness.

Alexandre has a degree in agronomy from the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG) and an MBA in commercial management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Throughout his career, he has worked as a commercial manager, business unit manager and sales director in large companies in the agrochemical, seed and biotechnology segments.

According to Sinara Ferreira, business director at FMC Brasil, Alexandre's arrival is strategic for the company. "Alexandre arrives to add to our team and our growth journey. With his solid knowledge of the producing areas in Brazil and the different market segments, he will lead the business in important regions for FMC and which are undergoing broad expansion, mainly for the constant evolution of our product pipeline and our team in the field.”
