FMC and Girassol Agrícola sign agreement

Girassol Agrícola will offer seeds treated via industrial treatment (TSI) with the products Presence Full (bionematicide) and Permit Star (to protect seeds against the phytotoxic action of the herbicide clomazone), from FMC.

“The strategic partnership signed with Girassol Agrícola will bring cotton seeds with TSI quality and unique and differentiated products to cotton farmers. We believe that, with this technology, the producer will have a seed ready for use, without the need to carry out retreatment before planting”, says Fábio Lemos, cotton crop manager at FMC.

According to information from FMC, Presence Full combats root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita) and the lesion nematode (Pratylenchus brachyurus). In turn, Permit Star assists in the use of the herbicide clomazone.
