Robusta coffee harvesting activities for the 2020/21 season began in part of the fields in Espírito Santo last week. According to Cepea employees, due to the milder weather in recent days, the percentage of green grains is high and, therefore, harvesting is still restricted. In Rondônia, between 5% and 10% of the volume expected in the state was harvested. According to agents, the harvest has gradually intensified, and a greater volume of coffee should reach the market in the coming weeks. For Arabica, producers consulted by Cepea began preparations for harvesting the 2020/21 harvest. The warmer weather in recent weeks has helped with the maturation of the grains. It is worth remembering that agents expect fieldwork to begin a little earlier this year.
