The largest producer of conilon coffee in Brazil, Espírito Santo, officially opens the 2025 harvest with a technical event in the municipality of Jaguaré. The “Special Opening Day of the Conilon Coffee Harvest” will take place on May 14, bringing together producers, authorities, technicians, researchers and companies at Fazenda Água Limpa.

The program will include lectures on the evolution of mechanized harvesting, machine demonstrations, field visits and a symbolic harvest. The initiative marks the celebration of yet another conilon harvest, one of the main drivers of the economy and agriculture of Espírito Santo.

Crop estimates

According to the first estimate for the 2025 harvest, released by the National Supply Company (Conab), Espírito Santo is expected to harvest 11,8 million bags, a 20% increase compared to 2024.

The state has 49 producing properties and is responsible for 76% of all conilon exported by Brazil. In the 2024 harvest, production reached 9,8 million bags, with more than 8 million bags exported - a historic record -, generating revenue of almost US$ 1,8 billion.

The technical event is held by the State Secretariat of Agriculture (Seag), the Capixaba Research Institute (Incaper), and the City of Jaguaré.
