Embraer participates in the Brazilian Agricultural Aviation Congress

Embraer will participate in the Brazilian Agricultural Aviation Congress, an event taking place from August 19th to 21st in Santo Antônio do Leverge, Mato Grosso, under the theme "A Look to the Future." During the fair, the Ipanema 203, the best-selling crop-dusting aircraft in the Brazilian agricultural aviation market, will be on display. With 20 years of operation and powered by 100% ethanol, the aircraft combines technology with robustness, high productivity with precision, and low operating costs.

"The Brazilian Agricultural Aviation Congress, sponsored by the National Union of Agricultural Aviation Companies (Sindag), is a great opportunity to promote innovations and trends in our sector," says Sany Onofre, Embraer's Agricultural Aviation leader. "Producers are increasingly seeking solutions that improve productivity, lower production costs, and operational safety." 

With over 180 units sold in the last three years, the aircraft remains a favorite among operators and offers a wide range of equipment designed to boost productivity and precision while maintaining sustainability. With efficiency equivalent to four large ground sprayers simultaneously, the ethanol-powered Ipanema 203 sprays over 200 hectares per hour, delivering a consistent, high-quality application without crushing the soil or spreading pests through contact, resulting in a yield of up to 15 more bags per hectare. 

In addition to participating in major agricultural sector events with the Ipanema 203, Embraer has also promoted operational safety during these events, with an intense agenda of field initiatives addressing topics such as preventive inspections, a safe environment, and best practices for pilots, mechanics, and operators. Currently, 100% of agricultural pilot training classes in Brazil receive a lecture from the Ipanema customer support team, ensuring that a culture of safety is instilled from the beginning of the agricultural pilot's professional career.
