The 2024 Coffee Growers Management Meeting (Encoffee) will bring together coffee producers and cooperatives from all over Brazil on October 1st and 2nd to discuss the political and economic scenarios in Brazil, the current moment of the coffee market, trends and perspectives. The meeting will take place at Palácio de Cristal, in Uberlândia, in the Minas Gerais triangle, starting at 8 am.

The eighth edition will promote an exchange of experiences that promises to chart new directions for Brazilian coffee production. The experts will also analyze aspects of risk management, technological advances and artificial intelligence, as well as new generations, consumer profiles, marketing and opportunities.

Among the highlights of the program, Felipe Serigatti, coordinator of the Master's course in Agribusiness at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), will address the theme “What to Expect for the Brazilian Economy and the Agro Universe?”, while Caio Souza, Head of Agribusiness and Meteorologist at Climatempo, will speak about the “Impacts of Climate Change on Coffee Farming”. The event will also welcome presidents of large cooperatives such as Cooxupé, Minasul, Expocacer, Nater Coop, Cocapec, among others.

“We know that producers are living in challenging times and our purpose with this edition of the event is to provide information, help coffee growers in decision-making and open up new avenues of opportunity,” says Luciana Martins, Executive Director of Grupo Conecta.

Women in coffee farming

As another innovative action in this edition, the event will feature women from the coffee industry who were nominated and voted to be commanders of Encoffee 2024. It will be up to them to carry out special actions on social media to promote the event and provide an incredible experience to other women working in the sector.
