Eaton expands replacement portfolio for the agricultural market

Even during the pandemic that has lasted more than three months in Brazil, agribusiness continues to grow and, according to IBGE data, the positive result is due to the performance mainly of grain crops, such as soybeans and rice. This promising scenario was reflected in the growth projections of Eaton's Aftermarket Division, which is expanding the portfolio of replacement components for the agricultural market launched at the beginning of the year, Eaton Aftermarket Parts (EAP).

“The growth goals we set for the brand at the beginning of 2020, when we announced the launch, were maintained - even with the arrival and course of the pandemic crisis. We had excellent market acceptance”, comments Fernando Piton, national sales manager at Eaton. Currently, the EAP line is made up of several components applied in transmission systems, which equip small to large tractors and harvesters from different manufacturers, applications and crops. This month, the portfolio will have another 41 part numbers, totaling 111 items so far. More components are expected to be launched later this year.

According to Piton, investments continue and factors such as local production and technical and commercial support are ensuring consistent adoption of the new brand in the market. “Production carried out in Brazil, at the Eaton unit in Caxias do Sul (RS), guarantees that there is no interference from exchange rate variations as happens with other brands. Furthermore, having close commercial support, ensuring market availability through an active distribution chain, and information that can be found in online catalogs are relevant differentiators, which contribute a lot to the user”, he says.

The products are also sold to other South American countries, such as Paraguay and Bolivia and are available at authorized Eaton distributors nationwide and distributors in other South American countries.
