The companies DuPont Crop Protection and DuPont Pioneer show at Parecis SuperAgro, an important meeting for the agricultural sector, the strength of integrated technologies in the areas of seeds and agrochemicals. The 9th edition of the event takes place in the municipality of Campo Novo do Parecis, from the 10th to the 13th of April, aimed at the harvest season in western Mato Grosso, with the aim of presenting to rural producers the technologies and services available to improve quality and productivity.

DuPont Crop Protection announces at Parecis SuperAgro 2016 that it has obtained official registration from regulatory bodies for the application of the insecticide Benevia® to control whiteflies. The registry was also authorized for the management of different pests in 30 Brazilian agricultural crops. According to the company, Benevia® was developed based on a state-of-the-art chemical molecule, whose active ingredient is Cyantraniliprole.

“It is a product of toxicological class IV, green range, therefore little toxic, with high insecticidal potency and also selective to the natural enemies of the pests it controls”, adds DuPont marketing manager, Ademilson Villela.

During the event, DuPont Crop Protection will also highlight the Avatar® insecticide and the Dermacor® seed treatment, in addition to the Soy Program, which is based on the technologies Aproach® Prima (fungicide), Dermacor® (seed treatment), Avatar®, Benevia ®, Prémio® and Lannate® (insecticides); Accent ® and Classic® (herbicides).

DuPont Pioneer's novelty at Parecis SuperAgro 2016 will be the portfolio of corn hybrids with Leptra® insect protection technology, formed by the association between Agrisure Viptera®, YieldGard®, Herculex®I, and Liberty Link® technologies.

“Due to its broad spectrum, Leptra® technology is an excellent choice for farmers who want more security and profitability in their crops, as it helps control the main caterpillars that attack corn crops”, explains the DuPont Pioneer Account Manager in the MT region, Lucio Elias.

According to Elias, DuPont Pioneer will present the portfolio of Pioneer® brand products recommended for grain production in the Cerrado off-season, with emphasis on corn hybrids 30F53VYH, 30F35VYHR, 30S31VYH, P2830H, P3380HR, P3630H, P3779H and P3844H.

“Our team of sales representatives will also promote a tour of the stand, to discuss Good Management Practices, including Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Insect Resistance Management (MRI)”, concludes the executive.

Producers will also be able to learn about the benefits of DuPont Pioneer's Industrial Seed Treatment, with the launch of the Dermacor® insecticide for soybeans and corn. Dermacor® together with Poncho® helps control the main pests of corn crops.
