TMG bets on corn and biotechnology to increase market share
The company is expected to launch two hybrids in 2025 and increase supply to four to five launches per year from then on.
According to the latest analysis of the Edenred Ticket Log Price Index (IPTL), a survey that consolidates the price behavior of transactions at gas stations, providing an accurate average, regular diesel ended September with the same average value as the previous month, of R$6,10. Stability was also recorded for the S-10 type, which closed the period at R$6,17 on the national average, after a reduction of 0,16%, compared to the closing of August.
“Both types of fuel have shown small variations in recent months and, based on the behavior we have observed in average regional prices, the tendency is for stability to remain until the end of the year, if there are no adjustments”, analyzes Douglas Pina, General Director of Mobility at Edenred Brasil.
In the regional analysis, only the Southeast region showed an increase in the average price of regular diesel, of 0,17%, reaching R$6,03. The Central-West and Northeast regions had the largest reduction for the fuel, of 0,49%, recording averages of R$6,12 and R$6,14, respectively. Meanwhile, the S-10 type only had an increase in the South region, of 0,17%, closing at R$5,98, and the largest drops, of 0,32%, also occurred in the Central-West and Northeast, where the liter closed at R$6,26 and R$6,20, respectively.
The highest average prices for both types of diesel were recorded at gas stations in the North Region, at R$6,67 for regular and R$6,59 for S-10. The lowest prices were found at gas stations in the South: regular at R$5,92 and S-10 at R$5,98.
In the survey by state, IPTL found that the highest average for regular diesel was recorded in Amapá, at R$7,39, after maintaining the same price as in August. Paraná also maintained the value of the previous month, at R$5,90, and ended September as the state with the lowest average price in the country for the fuel.
The highest and lowest prices for the S-10 type were recorded in the same states: in Amapá, the fuel is the most expensive, at R$7,49, after a 0,40% increase; and in Paraná, the S-10 was found at R$5,95, even after a 0,17% increase in price.
The biggest increase for regular diesel, 0,98%, occurred at pumps in Paraíba, which began selling the fuel at R$6,18, while the biggest reduction, 2,41%, was recorded in Sergipe, where the fuel was found at R$6,49. For type S-10, the biggest increase was identified in Amapá, 0,40%, dropping to R$7,49, and the biggest drop, 1,28%, was recorded in Rio Grande do Norte, which sold the fuel at R$6,17.
