The Animal and Plant Health Defense Agency – Iagro, through Resolution Semadesc nº 041, of December 28, 2023, exceptionally extended the deadline for the registration or registration of all soybean planting areas, referring to the 2023 harvest /2024, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The date runs until January 31, 2024. Registration is mandatory and must be carried out exclusively online on the agency's website (http://www.servicos.iagro.ms .gov.br/plantio).

This extension aims to meet the needs of producers and ensure effective compliance with phytosanitary defense measures, in particular, to control Asian rust. Mandatory registration of soybean cultivation areas is an essential strategy to strengthen phytosanitary safety and preserve the health of crops.

In a statement, Iagro reinforces the importance of the collaboration of all producers in meeting this extended deadline. By extending the deadline, we seek to provide the necessary flexibility so that all farmers can register properly and effectively, guaranteeing the health of soybean plantations in Mato Grosso do Sul.
