Mourning: Researcher Paulo Sentelhas dies
Specialist in Agrometeorology, he was a professor at Esalq and an effective member of the Soja Brasil Strategic Committee (CESB)
Feather prices are falling in the Brazilian market and have returned to the level observed in mid-August this year, as shown by data from Cepea. This Tuesday, 21st, the CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator, with payment in 8 days, closed at R$5,1864/lp, a drop of 1,96% between September 14th and 21st.
According to Cepea researchers, the pressure comes from the increase in the supply of lint in the national spot – due to the advance in processing – and also from external devaluations.
