Act in a planned manner and with the aim of presenting improvements for the producer. These are some of the premises that motivated Cotrijal to invest in a new Distribution Center, built to meet the demand of the cooperative's current 20 stores, with a projection to double the number of items in stock.
Located at km 16,5 of RS 142, next to the Seed Processing Unit, the Distribution Center has 4.344 square meters of built area, which will accommodate more than 16 thousand items.
The space also has ample parking, a loading and unloading area and quick access to the highway. “Our idea is to increase agility in product delivery, variety of items in stock and increase product options to better serve our associates and customers”, commented the president of Cotrijal, Nei César Manica.
The official opening of the activities of the new Cotrijal Distribution Center took place this Wednesday (26/2), with an inaugural visit. The activity included the participation of management, administrative and supervisory advisors and superintendents of the cooperative, as well as local authorities and leaders. “All investments are made with a focus on our producer, our client, who sees the cooperative as a strong partner at all times”, commented the vice-president of Cotrijal, Enio Schroeder.
The tour of the new CD facilities was guided by the cooperative's professionals, who presented information about the stores' logistics and the way they work. “We will have a significant improvement in product receipt and dispatch services, not to mention the guarantee of better product flow in our 20 stores. Also part of our action plan is the opening of new spaces and the expansion of the Não-Me-Toque store, which will be completely remodeled”, revealed Retail Superintendent, Valcir Zanchett.
Associate board member Odair Nienow, from Não-Me-Toque, expressed satisfaction in attending the inaugural visit and believes that the Distribution Center will bring benefits to all Lojas Cotrijal customers. “This is an achievement for the entire membership, something that was much debated in meetings and will bring great improvements to retail work”, he commented.
Associate tax advisor Ricardo Tomazoni, from Colorado, believes that the venture will bring more agility in deliveries and more quality to the stores' work. “The retail sector enters a new phase and we all benefit from it.”
A inaugural visit was also attended by the mayor of Não-Me-Toque, Pedro Paulo Falcão da Rosa; the president of the Chamber of Councilors, Everaldo Quadros de Moura; the president of Sicredi Cooperação RS/SC, Gervásio Jorge Diel; the president of ACINT, Marcos Petry; the president of the Não-Me-Toque Rural Workers Union; Maiquel Junges; and the president of the Não-Me-Toque Rural Union, Teodora Lütkemeyer.
