Corteva reports release of Enlist herbicide in US counties

Following completion of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) consultation process, Corteva Agriscience's Enlist herbicide may see expanded use in previously restricted counties in key growing regions across the US.

The ESA review was initially conducted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), then confirmed by consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS). The result is a “final biological opinion” (BiOp) that supports the restoration of counties previously restricted to the use of Enlist herbicides – including counties in Texas and Georgia.

Applicators must continue to comply with current product labels until supplemental labels are issued. Additionally, growers and applicators should consult the Endangered Species Protection Bulletins, which will include targeted restrictions in subcounties in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas.
