Corteva Agriscience is accepting applications for the latest edition of its Internship Program. There are 49 positions available in seven states of the country and the Federal District. Applications can be submitted on the Internship Company website and will remain open until June 11. The internship will begin on August 18.
The Internship Program offers participants a rich and diverse professional experience, reaffirming the dedication to developing key skills to fill the company’s talent pipeline. Claudia Pohlmann, Human Resources Director for Latin America at Corteva Agriscience, emphasizes that the initiative is an important gateway for young talent. “Many of the Company’s current leaders had an internship as their first experience at Corteva. We are proud of that,” she says.
The selection process includes online registration, presentations, panels, case studies and interviews. Internship opportunities are open to students from various undergraduate courses:
Agronomy, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Pharmacy, Marketing, Psychology, Advertising, International Relations, Political Science, Public Relations, Communication, Graphic Design, Administration, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, among others.
Students of Agronomy and related courses may work in areas such as Sales, Field Sales, Research & Development, Seed Production and Crop Protection, among others. The internship workload in these areas is 8 hours/day, 40 hours per week, with a minimum period of six months, and the possibility of renewal.
Students from other undergraduate courses can apply for positions in corporate areas, such as Marketing, Communications, CRM, Customer Service, Engineering, Industrial Excellence, Licensing, Finance, Market Intelligence, Purchasing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Institutional and Government Relations, Occupational Safety, Corporate Security, Supply Chain, among others. In these areas, the internship lasts up to two years, with a workload of 6 hours/day, 30 hours per week.
Among the benefits to support student development during the Internship Program, Corteva offers a monthly stipend of R$2.200 for interns working 6 hours a day, and R$2.920,00 for interns working 8 hours a day. The interns also have access to medical and dental care, pharmacy subsidies, transportation assistance, meal assistance, internet assistance, life insurance, Wellhub (GymPass) and psychological, legal and financial support.
Interns will have the opportunity to develop skills that include experiences, exposure and training, such as English and courses on platforms such as LinkedIn Learning. The program also includes formal feedback provided by the manager and the intern's main mentors.
