The union of links that makes the difference, generates opportunities and promotes development marked the announcement of Copacol's revenue during the AGO (Ordinary General Assembly), held this Friday in Cafelândia. In a challenging year for agribusiness, the Cooperative reached R$ 11,1 billion in revenue, which represents the solidity of a model built over 62 years of history.

The impressive result stems from the adoption of strategic and complex measures to overcome obstacles in a scenario of market instability, high costs, and logistical and sanitary challenges. Even so, Copacol recorded growth in the productive performance of its activities, driven by exemplary field management and the efficient processing of raw materials, guaranteeing a prominent presence in 85 countries.

During the presentation of the figures, Copacol's CEO, Valter Pitol, highlighted that the performance is a direct reflection of trust and collective work. “Reaching a revenue of R$ 11,1 billion fills us with pride and represents the strength of cooperativism in every link. This result reflects solid management, sound strategic decisions, and, above all, the trust built over Copacol's 62-year history. However, more important than that is the profitability provided in each of the properties that are part of Copacol: we disseminate this prosperity to everyone, ensuring joint growth,” he stated.

Among the activities, poultry farming was one of the most challenging during the period. Even in the face of high costs, instability in the international market, sanitary issues, and logistical pressures, the Cooperative maintained operational balance and competitiveness. Business diversification was one of the pillars of the result, with significant contributions also from fish farming, pig farming, and dairy cattle farming, which achieved record levels thanks to exemplary management, technical guidance, and a favorable market environment. In agriculture, soybean and corn crops stood out for their excellent productivity. The intensive use of technology, technical planning, and the dedication of the cooperative members strengthened the productive base, guaranteeing efficiency and quality grain by grain.

Leftovers and additions

As a hallmark of the cooperative model, business success has translated into direct benefits for its members. Copacol distributed R$ 224,9 million in profits, supplementary payments, and capital interest to its members, proportionally to each member's participation, valuing those who work daily in the fields and believe in the cooperative model as an instrument for collective growth.

“We brought forward the first installment in December, allowing many members to meet their financial goals and realize their dreams. Now we are releasing the payment of the second installment, which is being deposited into members' accounts, maintaining the cooperative tradition that drives us,” he explained.

Payments will begin on Tuesday, February 3rd, with deposits into the members' accounts, equivalent to each member's share in the Cooperative's activities and business.

Fiscal Council

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) saw significant participation from cooperative members and the presence of the president of Ocepar (Organization of Cooperatives of the State of Paraná), José Roberto Ricken, reinforcing the relevance of the result for the cooperative movement in Paraná. Ricken also led part of the event and swore in the new Fiscal Council. Effective members: Celio Baldussi, Darci Mezzari, Nelida Mara Guerreiro. Alternate members: Augustinho Exteckoetter, Martim Jose Steimbach, Rogério Effting.

“More than just numbers, Copacol’s performance proves that unity, diversification, and teamwork continue to be the key differentiators that transform challenges into achievements and guarantee an increasingly solid future for the Cooperative, its members, employees, and the entire community,” concluded Pitol.
