The second bean crop among members of the Cooperativa Agroindustrial Tradição presents a positive productivity scenario. According to estimates from the technical and commercial department, the crops harvested early should reach an average yield of between 30 and 35 sacks per hectare, reflecting proper management, technical support, and continuous work with the producers.

For the 2025/2026 harvest, cooperative members must deliver their bean production to the Pato Branco and Mangueirinha units. According to the cooperative's Commodities Manager, Almir Sautier, this decision takes into account the specific characteristics of the bean.

"Beans need to be dried over indirect heat to guarantee product quality, as well as being a safety measure," he emphasizes. Since the bean harvest coincides with other crops, this strategy also prevents cross-contamination and ensures greater efficiency in the process.

In the background, the national scenario reinforces this positive moment. Estimates indicate that Brazilian bean production in 2025 should reach approximately 3,1 million tons, with the second crop accounting for about 1,2 million tons. Paraná remains the country's main producer, consolidating its leadership and strengthening the crop's importance in domestic supply.
