The year 2026 began with the opening of another Alfa agricultural supply store. This time, the business was inaugurated in São Mateus do Sul, Paraná. Since January 22nd, rural producers and the urban population have had access to a complete line of products and services offered by Cooperalfa.

According to the engineer responsible for the renovation project, João Bet, the rented structure comprises a sales area of 450 square meters, a supply warehouse of 280 square meters, and ample front parking. The site also has space for a future pesticide storage facility.

Supervisor Cláudio Tosatti emphasizes that the new, well-located store expands business opportunities. “In 2025, we conducted a study to analyze the feasibility of expansion in some regions and identified the agricultural potential of São Mateus do Sul and the logistical advantages of its proximity to Paula Freitas, Canoinhas, Mafra, and more recently, Lapa, which also now has an Alfa unit. We are convinced that this is a prosperous region, and we are delivering a complete store to the population. Business is evolving, and Cooperalfa also envisions development and remains attentive to the market and investment opportunities,” he assesses.

For manager Maciel Kuhn (pictured), this is a moment of enthusiasm. “We have very positive expectations regarding this new venture. It was a dream for the entire region that the cooperative would come to this municipality, which has great potential. We have a beautiful, complete store with a diverse product mix, and we want everyone to feel welcomed by our team, which is trained to provide quality service to our members and customers,” he says.

São Mateus do Sul has a very large area, and Alfa is already present in nearby municipalities as well, a fact that broadens its recognition. "May we continue the cooperative's growth in this region, always with the credibility and trust earned over time," the manager emphasizes.

Among the activities that stand out in the municipality is the cultivation of soybeans, with vast productive potential, in addition to corn, wheat, potatoes, and yerba mate, considered a benchmark, including for export.
