Delay in the pace of soybean planting could compromise production potential

The Netherlands wants to offer Brazil, especially for the Supply Centers (Ceasas), its experience in the technological process regarding logistics and trade in fruits and vegetables that are traded on the European continent.
On Tuesday (17/12), technicians from the National Supply Company (Conab) participated in discussions to define topics of interest for a mission that will be in the capital, Amsterdam, from February 9 to 14 next year. Targeting the produce segment, Brazilian representatives will visit storage stations and other equipment that will be presented to them on the occasion and which use new Dutch technologies aimed at this segment.
The objective of the mission, according to the organizers, is to present opportunities that the Netherlands can offer to Brazilian companies and organizations in the areas of knowledge and technology transfer and bilateral trade. During the program, Dutch models of innovation in the field of agrologistics systems, management and planning in the fruit and vegetable sector, as well as storage technology, as well as processing and classification lines for importers, exporters and producers aimed at the field storage.
Conab runs the Brazilian Horticultural Market Modernization Program - Prohort, which aims to contribute to the development and modernization of the national horticultural sector, providing greater interaction between the various government agents and members of the production and distribution chain.
