The coffee harvest is progressing well in the Guaxupé Regional Coffee Growers' Cooperative (Cooxupé) area. As of July 25, members had already harvested 67,1% of the 2024 coffee crop, according to a survey released by the cooperative itself.
Headquartered in Minas Gerais, Cooxupé brings together more than 21 thousand producers and is present in more than 360 municipalities distributed throughout the regions of Southern Minas, Cerrado Mineiro, Matas de Minas and the middle Mogiana region of the state of São Paulo.
Among the regions monitored by the cooperative, the greatest progress to date has been recorded in Matas de Minas, with 75% of the area harvested, followed by Sul de Minas, with 70,9%. In São Paulo, the percentage is 71%, while in Cerrado Mineiro, the harvest has reached 58,8%.
Cooxupé periodically updates harvest data throughout the season, monitoring the progress of work on its members' coffee plantations.
