Summer, with its hot and rainy weather, requires extra attention from farmers. The combination of heat and humidity favors the emergence of fungal diseases, making constant monitoring a priority to protect crops.

“We must maintain constant monitoring and use a program of systemic fungicides and protectors. It is essential that this practice begins before the period of 'street closure' in the crop, to protect the leaves of the lower part of the crop and ensure the best health for as long as possible”, advises Rodrigo Rombaldi, consultant of the Technical Department (Detec) of Cocari.

Technology as an ally in management

In areas where humidity makes it difficult for agricultural machinery to enter, the use of drones for spraying has proven to be an efficient and sustainable solution. “The use of drones prevents trampling on crops, allowing pesticides to be applied precisely and without damaging the soil,” explains Rombaldi.

This technological alternative not only guarantees agility and precision, but also contributes to the preservation of soil structure and plant health, even in challenging conditions.
