Clube Agro and MAPFRE promote Live that discusses the importance of rural insurance

A fundamental instrument of Brazilian agricultural policy, rural insurance will be the central theme of the Live “Agro Solutions: the importance and opportunities of insurance for the sector”. The event, promoted by Clube Agro and MAPFRE, takes place this Thursday (20/1), at 15 pm, and will feature special appearances by the Undersecretary of Agricultural Policy and Agro-Environmental Business of the Ministry of Economy, Rogerio Boueri Miranda and the director of the department of Risk Management of the Ministry of Agriculture, Pedro Augusto Loyola Jr..

Boueri will speak about the importance of agricultural insurance, while Loyola will address the evolution of the subsidy program and expectations for 2022. The participants will be completed by MAPFRE's Agricultural Insurance Technical Superintendent, Catia Rucco Rivelles, the creator of Clube Agro, Simone Rodrigues, and the Commercial Director of Clube Agro, Eric Chinen.   

According to Eric Chinen, this is a mandatory event for rural entrepreneurs, as it will provide clarification on a topic of fundamental importance. “With rural insurance, producers protect themselves against losses resulting from weather phenomena. It is absolutely essential that rural entrepreneurs have access to this coverage. Clube Agro will help make more and more producers count on this facility”, he argues.

For the Technical Superintendent of Agricultural Insurance at MAPFRE, Catia Rucco Rivelles, having rural insurance is essential for the entire production chain in the rural environment. “We bring security not only to the producer, but also to his family, his financiers, investors, business partners and rural production as a whole. Taking out rural insurance has become mandatory for producers who wish to have a line of credit with financial institutions and MAPFRE has the best solutions”, guarantees Catia.
