Demand for oranges decreased slightly this week, due to rain and mild temperatures. According to Cepea employees, the quality of the fruits, especially the size, has also influenced prices. It is worth mentioning that small fruits have predominated on the market, so larger ones have been sold at higher prices.

In this week's partial (Monday to Thursday), pear oranges have an average of R$ 40,16/box of 40,8 kg, on the tree, a slight increase of 1,18% compared to the previous one. Lime, in turn, is being sold at an average of R$45,80/box, an increase of 4% in the same comparison.

For Tahiti acid lime, prices continue to rise, due to low supply and limited quality, a reflection of rainfall that is still below average. In this week's partial, the variety had an average of R$ 83,74/box of 27 kg, harvested, an increase of 3,75% compared to last week. With the high sales values on the domestic market, the price of fruit for export has followed this trend.
