Children's book “Finding Nemas” explains nematodes in a fun and accessible way

During the 39th Brazilian Congress of Nematology, held in Foz do Iguaçu (PR), the children's book “Procurando Nemas” was launched, which explains scientific concepts in an accessible and natural way for children. The author is the researcher from the Biological Institute, Cláudio Marcelo de Oliveira, in partnership with the illustrator Ana Cecília Oliveira. 

With a combination of text and images, the work delves into the theme of nematodes, addressing the identification and classification of these organisms, as well as their geographical distribution. The story unfolds from the perspective of a child who, guided by his teacher, explores this fascinating world. 

Thanks to the sponsorship of the companies JCO, Omex and Corteva and the support of SBN and Instituto Biológico, the distribution of the book will be free.
