Anticipating the harvest period, Cooxupé will hold the Cerrado Fair 2026 on February 4th and 5th in Monte Carmelo (MG). Promoted in one of the most strategic regions of national coffee production, the Cerrado Mineiro, the fair reaches its 11th edition as a benchmark for the sector, bringing together business opportunities, access to solutions, and knowledge exchange aimed at strengthening productivity and crop management.

The Cerrado Mineiro region stands out for the quality of its coffee production and the economic importance of the activity. Data from the 'Região e Cerrado Mineiro' organization indicate that the region accounts for approximately 12,7% of national production, with an average production of 6 million bags.

The Cerrado Fair takes place at the Cooxupé headquarters in the city of Monte Carmelo, which serves more than 3 cooperative families in the region alone. The cooperative expects to receive more than 5 visitors during the two-day event.

Strategic moment

With the theme "Tradition and Innovation: Responsible Management, Strong Cooperativism, Future of Opportunities," the fair will bring together coffee growers interested in new technologies, management practices, and innovative alternatives aimed at increasing productivity and sustainability, which are hallmarks of coffee farming in the region.

“The Cerrado Fair is a strategic moment to bring cooperative members closer to the main innovations in the market, strengthen cooperativism, and present solutions that contribute to the sustainability and profitability of farms. The event reinforces Cooxupé's commitment to the development of coffee farming and to the continuous support of cooperative producers,” highlights Carlos Augusto Rodrigues de Melo, president of Cooxupé.

The event will feature exhibitors of machinery, implements, and solutions geared towards the agricultural sector. With a focus on coffee farming and the grain market, technological advancements and solutions for the sector will be presented, along with special commercial conditions for cooperative members. According to the organizers, they expect to receive more than 5 coffee producers and visitors during the two-day event.

Infrastructure and highlights of the fair.

This year, the Cerrado Fair will bring together more than 70 exhibitors from the national agribusiness sector in a total area of 50 m², with 13 m² covered.

One of the highlights of the fair is the 'New Crops Space', dedicated to Cooxupé's work in the cereal segment. Launched in 2025, this initiative expands the portfolio of solutions offered to cooperative members, promoting greater benefits for farming and income diversification by combining coffee and cereal crops. In this context, the event presents an important technological attraction: the exhibition and demonstration of spraying drones, which are transforming agricultural management with greater precision, operational efficiency, and sustainability.

In addition to stands showcasing innovative agricultural products, visitors will be able to learn about Cooxupé's services and solutions, such as Geoprocessing, Soil and Leaf Laboratory, NEA (Environmental Education Center), Vectag (focused on rural credit financing), Protocolo Gerações (providing information on sustainable actions and good agricultural practices), SMC Specialty Coffees – focused on specialty coffees, and the Insurance Broker, expanding access to tools that support farm management.

Social spaces, cafes with Evolutto and Prima Qualità coffees, a food court, and areas focused on family well-being complete the experience. The fair also offers internet access, restaurants, and snack bars.

Special business conditions

The Cerrado Fair also stands out for its special business conditions, where cooperative producers can anticipate their purchases, especially given the increasingly longer delivery times practiced by the supplier market. By closing deals during the event, cooperative members secure more advantageous commercial conditions and gain greater predictability in planning the harvest and investments for the next agricultural year.

With free admission and parking, the Cerrado Fair 2026 will be held from 8 am to 18 pm, on the banks of Highway MG 190, Km 3, in Monte Carmelo (MG).
