Organized by Cooxupé, the Cerrado Fair will take place on February 05th and 06th, in Monte Carmelo/MG. With the theme “Agriculture and Climate Change: Resilience and Opportunities”, the business-focused event will welcome coffee growers from this producing region of Minas Gerais in search of solutions and technologies to boost coffee productivity in their plantations, given the climate challenges that have been occurring in recent years.

In its 10th edition, the Cerrado Fair presents machines, implements, equipment, tools and supplies for the agricultural sector, with a main focus on coffee production, offering differentiated business conditions for Cooxupé members. According to the organization, the expectation is to receive more than 4 thousand coffee producers and visitors during the two days of the event.

“The Cerrado Fair is aimed at coffee-growing families that are members of Cooxupé who are looking for alternatives and solutions to implement technologies in their crops, in addition to being an event committed to current and future themes with a purpose focused on sustainable agricultural production”, says Carlos Augusto Rodrigues de Melo, president of Cooxupé.

Structure and news for 2025

This year, the Feira do Cerrado will bring together 65 exhibitors from national agribusiness in a total area of 50 thousand m², of which 11 thousand m² will be covered.

Among the new features are the “New Cultures Space”, consisting of stands and demonstration areas focused on the cereal segment for the cultivation of corn and soybeans, and also an area reserved for the demonstration of agricultural spraying drones so that the cooperative member can see in practice how this technology works and its benefits for crops.

In addition to the stands with innovative agricultural products, the fair also has a food court and coffee islands, as well as other spaces such as Empório Cooxupé, SMC Specialty Coffees – focused on specialty coffees, Cooxupé Corretora de Seguros, Vect.Ag (focused on financing rural credit), Protocolo Gerações (intended for information on sustainable actions and good agricultural practices), Roasting and Master Expresso, and the Beauty and Kids spaces.

Special conditions

The structure provided at the event also facilitates negotiations with full support from the Business Center. In addition to the traditional lines of credit with the presence of financial institutions, Cooxupé cooperative producers will be able to make their purchases through the “Barter Operation”, which allows the coffee grower to make payments using their coffee as currency.

With free entry and parking, the Feira do Cerrado 2025 takes place from 8 am to 18 pm, on the banks of the MG 190 Highway, Km 3, in Monte Carmelo.
