Master's degree from Unesp and IPT investigates technology in favor of water
Last week, the team from Agristar do Brasil's high-tech seed line, Topseed Premium, organized a technical trip with onion producers and partners from Minas Gerais to the Ituporanga (SC) region. The objective of the tour was to update the current crop harvest scenario to assist them in planning the next planting.
The technical Sales consultant, Douglas Machado, explains that customers and partners in the regions of Santa Juliana, São Gotardo, Patos de Minas and Paracatu, were able to see the quality of the crop, learn about the local reality, see the performance of the materials in field level and, above all, strengthen the relationship with everyone present.
“We found a very productive and good quality harvest, in which onion offers on the market could remain high until the month of May, and all of this with excellent quality”, details Machado.
For producer Cleber Miada, from Uberaba (MG), the action that the company has been taking annually is very valid. “The exchange of information between producers about their respective regions is very important to update us on the current scenario and help us with planning, in addition to allowing us to improve production techniques.”
The Agricultural Engineer at the Alto Paranaíba Agricultural Cooperative (Coopadap), Michel Garcez, explains that the visit was very important to check the quality of the onions and exchange technical and market data. “This exchange of knowledge has certainly added a lot to my day-to-day work, because this way I will be able to better position the materials that will be planted in our region.”
The group was accompanied by technical Sales assistants Aurélio Maeda and Napoleão Siqueira and received by the coordinator of the Agristar Experimental Station in Ituporanga (SC), Rubens Deuttner. The tour also had the support of partner reseller Agropecuária Zecão.
