Case IH has introduced updates to its baler line for the 2027 model year. The changes encompass the LB4 and LB6 large prismatic balers, as well as the RB6 and RB6 HD Pro round balers. The company reports improvements in productivity, durability, automation, and connectivity.

In the LB4 and LB6 lines, Case IH included a Rotor Feeder option. The system aims to maintain a continuous and controlled flow of material. The proposal involves greater yield and performance in different crop conditions.

The Rotor Cutter version now features up to 57 blades. This configuration increases cutting capacity and operational flexibility. The new lightweight blade drawer facilitates access and cleaning. Individual blade protection and simple cutting length adjustment allow for adaptation to changes in the field.

RB6 line

In the RB6 line, the updates target durability, bale uniformity, and simple operation. The baling chamber has been reinforced. Central components have also received improvements. According to Case IH, the changes help maintain bale quality and reduce long-term maintenance requirements.

The RB6 also received an expanded offering of monitors and factory preparation for automation between the tractor and baler. The system for the tractor wraps the bale and ejects it, requiring less operator intervention.

RB6 HD Pro Line

The RB6 HD Pro has received updates designed for large farms and service providers. Mechanical improvements aim to optimize material flow. Case IH FieldOps connectivity now offers baling data, field performance information, bale tracking, and mapping.

Case IH has also introduced Nature's Net Wrap on the RB6 and RB6 HD Pro lines. The compostable netting uses plant-based materials. This option aims to maintain wrapping performance and bale integrity, while also reducing plastic waste and disposal needs.

The Case IH 2027 model year line will be available starting in the third quarter of 2027.
