Case IH is showcasing the LB436 HD baler at AgroActiva in Argentina. The equipment caters to large producers and service providers in the forage sector. The machine increases operational capacity, automates adjustments, and improves bale compaction.

The LB436 HD produces bales weighing up to 500 kilograms. Its capacity exceeds 40 tons per hour. The baler uses a reinforced piston and a redesigned compaction chamber. This combination facilitates the transport and storage of the baled material.

The machine features TwinePro double knot technology. According to Case IH, the patented system generates knots up to 30% stronger. This solution improves bale stability under high-density conditions. The system also eliminates twine residue during tying. This contributes to cleaner forage and reduces environmental impact.

The baler also operates with ISOBUS III compatible automation. The system integrates the tractor and baler. Sensors and automatic controls adjust the forward speed and optimize the uniform filling of the bales. This technology reduces operator fatigue and improves overall efficiency.

Efficiency and productivity

“With the LB436 HD, we aim to take a leap in efficiency and productivity within the forage segment, incorporating technologies that allow for greater capacity, better compaction quality, and more precise and uniform operation even under demanding conditions,” stated Rodrigo Lanciotti, Marketing Manager.

The LB436 HD features a double axle with hydraulic suspension, large tires, and a new short-shoot boom. These components improve stability, maneuverability, and ease of transport over long journeys.

The pick-up measures 2,35 meters and has five finger bars. The system aims for uniform feeding at high speeds. The machine also has automatic density control to produce homogeneous bales in different crops.
