Case IH’s Optum tractors now offer new configuration options focused on efficiency and customization. The three models — with power outputs ranging from 271 to 340 horsepower — can be ordered with specific technology packages to meet the needs of each producer.

The joystick installed in the Multicontroller armrest now also controls the rear hitches. Previously, it only controlled the front hitches. This update allows the operator to adapt the machine more precisely to the activity.

The controls are calibrated on the Pro 1200 screen, located on the armrest itself. It only takes a few touches to adjust the functions, whether with front and rear implements — such as a set of mowers — or with a single rear implement, such as a plow.

The brand has adopted a strategy already applied to the Quadtrac, Steiger, Magnum and Puma 185-260 series. Now, the Optum has packages with tiered levels of technology. This allows the buyer to assemble the tractor according to the type of operation, without paying for unnecessary items.

The new packages are added to the existing versions — Advanced and Professional —, simplifying the purchasing process and increasing the tractor's resale value.

Another new feature is connectivity. Case IH has included this feature as a standard item on all new models in the Optum line.

Connected services and the FieldOps system are available without subscription fees, the company said.

With FieldOps, producers can access machine and crop data in near real time. The application — also available as a web platform — allows them to monitor, plan and evaluate all operations, both on and off the field.
