Cargill is investing in initiatives to promote gender equality in its operations in Brazil. Currently, 36,4% of the company's leadership positions are held by women, according to information distributed to the press. The goal is to reach 50% by 2030. The company seeks to create a more inclusive and diverse environment, using several strategies to move in this direction.

Cargill has had a diversity committee since 2016. The group, made up of employees from different areas, promotes activities such as lectures and training. The goal is to develop a more equitable work environment. The committee also uses strategic planning tools to monitor progress towards goals and suggest improvements. Among the initiatives are affinity networks, which encourage discussions on equity and inclusion.

One of the highlights is the Mulheres Operando no Brasil (MOB) group. It is made up exclusively of female Cargill employees and works to ensure that gender equality is prioritized. In addition, the group also encourages the participation of male allies. Another important network is Elas Vivem o Agro (EVA), which promotes the exchange of experiences between customers and employees. EVA's focus is female entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, a sector traditionally dominated by men.

Simone Beier, Cargill's human resources director in Brazil, emphasizes that diversity is essential for innovation. According to her, inclusive environments help solve complex problems in a creative way. Simone explains that the company's goal is to create a space where everyone can explore ideas and develop solutions.
