CNH Industrial presents the T7 Methane Power LNG

The T7 Methane Power LNG prototype offers unmatched performance for an alternative fuel tractor. It was also presented at "CNH Industrial's Breaking New Ground" (see article about T4 Electric Power). With 270 hp, it provides power and torque equivalent to a diesel tractor, without the need for extra tanks. The machines have been finished in a new 'Clean Blue' color that accentuates sustainable alternative fuels.

The exteriors fit into the brand's new design style, which can be seen on the hood with New Holland's iconic illuminated leaf. The exterior is completed by powerful LED taillights with incorporated signature foil, an illuminated foil on the C-pillar and gloss black wheels with custom Clean Blue accents.

The cabin incorporates a full-length skydome roof for greater visibility and a feeling of space. The innovative SideWinder Ultra armrest, new and larger IntelliView 12 touchscreen and center screen on the CentreView fixed-hub steering wheel make working intuitive - while the ergonomically shaped seats, upholstered in leather and Alcantara, with contrasting stripes and embroidered logo, They look sporty as well as being comfortable.

The patented temperature-controlled active fuel system developed for this pre-production prototype incorporates a stainless steel cryogenic tank, which virtually occupies the same space as a traditional diesel tank, maximizing space and effectively storing the LNG within a working tractor.

The system has a self-sustaining vacuum space that isolates the fuel within it and reduces the thickness of the tank. Refueling is as easy as a diesel tractor. Once in the field, active tank temperature control ensures the engine runs smoothly.

Equipped with New Holland's latest precision technology - PLM Intelligence - this prototype, as well as the entire New Holland production fleet, allows the farmer to command guidance programs, analyze all field data and remain wirelessly connected throughout the area from the farm.
