The Burning Hen Festival in Austria was the stage for the launch of one of Steyr's most significant new tractor lines in the country: the Plus series. It features machines with power outputs ranging from 80 to 117 hp.

The Plus series models are the first from the brand to receive the new design, which aims to distinguish tractors in a highly competitive sector. The new line has already been recognized with four design awards: German Design Award, iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award and BIG SEE Product Design Award.

The Plus series replaces the Kompakt line, offering features such as a 40 km/h transmission with 24 forward and 24 reverse gears, two-speed powershift and electro-hydraulic powershuttle, plus mechanical cabin suspension and more hydraulic power.

According to Peter-Philipp Hampel, Steyr’s Head of Operations in Europe, the Burning Hen Festival was the ideal venue to present the new series due to the profile of the attendees. According to him, the festival’s audience is made up of people with innovative thinking, who align themselves with the proposal of the new tractor line.
