Even with low liquidity in the domestic wheat market, wheat prices cereals continue to rise, as shown by data from Cepea. The period of off-season, the rise in the foreign market and the fact that producers are capitalized have influenced values.

According to Cepea employees, producers, focused on crops summer, are receiving payment for sales made at the end of the year past. Thus, wheat negotiations are punctual, in order to free up space for the current harvest. The expectation is for greater movement from February.
