Bunge Global SA reported net income of US$354 million in the second quarter of 2025, a five-fold increase compared to the same period in 2024. The performance reflects the sale of its corn milling business in the United States and the effects of the integration with Viterra, completed in early July.

U.S. GAAP diluted earnings per share were $2,61, compared with $0,48 a year earlier. Excluding one-time effects and accounting adjustments, adjusted earnings per share fell to $1,73 from $1,31.

Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) totaled $293 million in the quarter, down from $405 million in 2024. Adjusted EBIT for the Agribusiness division was $233 million, driven by processing in South America and Asia. Still, total processed volume fell to 19,3 million tons, compared to 20,6 million in the same quarter last year.

The company's net revenue totaled US$12,8 billion between April and June, down from US$13,2 billion in 2024. Gross profit increased from US$664 million to US$738 million. Selling, general, and administrative expenses totaled US$418 million.

The sale of the corn milling operation generated an accounting gain of US$155 million, recorded in the Milling division. As a result, the segment's adjusted EBIT reached US$27 million, in line with the US$28 million recorded in 2024.

The Refined and Specialty Oils business performed poorly, impacted by lower energy demand, particularly in North America and Europe. Adjusted EBIT fell from US$193 million to US$116 million.

In the half-year consolidated results, net income reached US$555 million, an increase of 77% compared to the same period last year. Adjusted cash flow (FFO) was US$693 million, down from US$895 million in 2024.

Bunge maintained its adjusted earnings per share forecast of $7,75 for 2025, despite excluding second-half corn milling results. The projection does not yet incorporate the effects of the merger with Viterra, whose estimate will be released before the third-quarter earnings report.
