Coronavirus should not strongly harm Agribusiness GDP
Impacts on the sector’s job market, however, are worrying
To resolve doubts about the country's supply during the period facing the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Supply Company (Conab) will provide an overview of the Brazilian harvest during the Agrodigital Meeting. This Wednesday (15), the Company's president, Guilherme Bastos, presents the current scenario of agricultural production at the meeting that will be held online.
During the lecture, Bastos will show the prospects for the grain harvest and the market outlook, with the new challenges faced by Brazilian farmers. He will also address the purchasing power of rural producers, as well as the progress of agricultural exports. On this occasion, the president of Conab will also present the variations in the supply of fruits and vegetables recorded in the main warehouses in Brazil and the impacts on wholesale prices.
The Agrodigital Meeting aims to bring information to businesspeople and farmers about the current scenario of Brazilian agribusiness. The expectation is that the event, which continues until Thursday (16), will register an audience of more than 60 thousand followers. Click here and sign up to participate in the Conab lecture.
