Projections from the Ministry of Agriculture indicate an 11,5% growth in the Gross Value of Agricultural Production (VBP), reaching R$1,418 trillion. The increase reflects the recovery of crops such as soybeans (+19,9%) and corn (+12%), after the impacts of the drought in 2024.

In agriculture, crop revenues are expected to rise to R$941,8 billion (+11,2%), while livestock, driven by the rise in beef (+21,5%) and pork (+17,8%), is expected to reach R$477,1 billion (+12,2%). Products such as coffee (+35,9%) and beans (+3,3%) are also seeing increases, while potatoes (-49%) and eggs (-5,2%) are facing declines.

The VBP reflects a larger harvest (+7%), favorable exchange rate and price recovery. Mato Grosso maintains the leadership among the states, with R$ 185,1 billion in revenue.
