Andav Board of Directors for 2024-25 takes office
The inauguration ceremony not only honored the entity's 33-year history in defense of input distributors, but also celebrated achievements and advances
The opening ceremony of the Brazilian Congress on Agribusiness Law, scheduled for March 19, 2024, in São Paulo, will have the participation of important authorities in jurisprudence, agribusiness and economics. Registration to participate in the event, with free virtual broadcast, is open on the official website.
After the ceremony, the former Minister of Finance, Maílson da Nóbrega, economist and partner at Tendências Consultoria, will give the inaugural lecture Limitations for the country's growth. Afterwards, participants will follow the discussions and assessments brought by experts in the areas of law, agribusiness, investments and economics for four fundamental themes for legal security, economic growth and competitiveness of the sector: Agribusiness and Capital Markets – The Regulation of FIAGRO Property Law, Social Function and Agrarian Contracts; Risk Management, Credit and Judicial Recovery; and Green Transition: Bioeconomy and Legal Instruments.
The closing of the Brazilian Agribusiness Law Congress will be given by former Minister of Agriculture Roberto Rodrigues, Professor Emeritus at FGV and Member of the CBDA Board of Trustees. During the event, lawyer, professor and writer Arnoldo Wald, partner and founder of Wald, Antunes, Vita e Blattner Advogados, will receive a tribute for his contribution to the study of economic theory applied to legal phenomena.
The following are confirmed for the event: João Pedro Nascimento, President of the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM); Guilherme Campos Jr., Superintendent of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock in the State of São Paulo; Guilherme Piai, Secretary of Agriculture and Supply of the State of São Paulo; Neri Geller, Secretary of Agricultural Policy at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock; and Guilherme Mendes Resende, Special Advisor to the Presidency of the Federal Supreme Court (STF); Arnaldo Jardim, Federal Deputy, Vice-president of the FPA Parliamentary Agricultural Front; and Tereza Cristina, Senator of the Republic.
They are also confirmed for the ceremony, which will feature the participation of presidents Silvia Massruhá (Embrapa), Luiz Carlos Corrêa Carvalho (Brazilian Agribusiness Association – ABAG) and Sérgio Bortolozzo (Brazilian Rural Society – SRB). The opening of the ceremony will be in charge of Renato Buranello, president of the Brazilian Institute of Agribusiness Law – IBDA, organizer of the Congress.
