Technicians from the National Supply Company (Conab) will be part of the Brazilian delegation that will be in Mexico this Monday (23) to exchange experiences between the countries in agricultural policy actions. The visit aims to improve the instruments of action developed in these areas by the Company and the Agency for Commercialization and Development of Agricultural Markets (Aserca) in the Latin American country.
At the meeting, an overview of Brazilian storage will be presented, in addition to the procedures necessary for storage certification in the country. Conab technicians will also show agricultural policy actions developed to support the sector, such as the Minimum Price Guarantee Policy.
During the visit, the Brazilian delegation hopes to learn about the actions that the Mexican government is taking to support the commercialization of its country's production, such as actions on exchanges in the futures market. Conab's expectation is also that a cooperation agreement will be proposed between the institutions to improve the agricultural policy instruments implemented.
