Brazil will produce 49 million bags of coffee in 2016

In 2015 world coffee production was 143 million bags and Brazil's corresponded to 30% of this volume

The National Supply Company – Conab has just released the Third Survey of the 2016 Coffee Harvest, which is carried out every year in August and made public in September. The Survey shows that Brazilian production of Arabica and conilon coffee is expected to be 49,64 million 60kg bags, with an average productivity of 25,46 bags per hectare, in a production area of ​​1,95 million hectares. In the world panorama of coffee growing, the International Coffee Organization – ICO also released the August 2016 Coffee Market Report, which shows that in 2015 world production was 143,306 million and that of Brazil (Brazilian Naturals) of 42,289 million bags. ICO data for 2016 has not yet been released.
