At Expointer 2025, Stara will be presenting its latest product, the Bravíssima corn platform, to the public. The equipment is coming to market with a focus on operational efficiency, robustness, and high-quality field finishes.

Among the differences, the line's housing is now made of aluminum, which reduces weight and increases durability. Meanwhile, the fairing nose, made of cast steel, provides greater strength and improves the angle of attack during harvesting.

According to the company, Bravíssima is compatible with different corn varieties and cover crops. Therefore, on properties that alternate between pure corn and intercropped corn, there is no need for platform changes or adaptations.

The equipment also features a hydraulic de-seeding plate system, torque limiters, a self-tensioning row set, a pick-up roller cleaning system, and a height sensor—available on models with 14 or more rows. Another highlight is the ability to harvest corn intercropped with Brachiaria.

To ensure a continuous flow of material, even in adverse conditions, the feeding system was designed to prevent clogging. "Bravíssima will deliver excellent straw finish, which will allow for more efficient future management, such as subsequent seeding. Furthermore, the straw will decompose more quickly," says Ramon Cancian (in the video), product marketing at Stara.

According to the company, these solutions result in less straw entering the machine, which means greater operational efficiency, fewer crop losses and lower fuel consumption.
