Brado, a multimodal logistics operator, achieved a historic record in December by carrying out phytosanitary treatment of 874 containers with agricultural and forestry cargo at its terminal in Rondonópolis (MT). This volume represents a 20,4% increase compared to the previous record, registered in October. The operations involved the transport of cotton lint, wood, and sesame, mainly destined for markets in India, Indonesia, and Pakistan.

One of the main reasons for the performance recorded last month is the expansion of the operational capacity of the Rondonópolis terminal. In particular, the space dedicated to the phytosanitary treatment of this type of product has increased from 28 to 100 containers treated simultaneously. Essential for the export-oriented agribusiness, fumigation is carried out in partnership with companies in the sector and ensures the elimination of pests and fungi that can compromise the quality of the products and pose risks to human health.

In addition to protecting the cargo, the procedure meets sanitary requirements imposed by various importing countries, being crucial for the release of shipments and access to international markets. Alongside this treatment, Brado has also advanced in optimizing operational movement, ensuring cargo shipments are on schedule and promoting greater efficiency in the logistics flow, reducing bottlenecks. There has also been an increase in the volume of cargo eligible for treatment at the terminal, notably cotton lint, in addition to strong demand from the teak wood market, a segment in which Brado is a leader in logistics solutions.

The result also reflects the integrated work of the teams involved in the operation. For Wellida Reis, coordinator of Planning and Internal Control, the historic milestone highlights the company's operational maturity. “This record is the result of the commitment, dedication, and operational excellence of the teams. Surpassing our own record reinforces the team's capabilities and Brado's growth momentum,” she emphasizes.
