The São Paulo State Sugarcane Planters Cooperative (Coplacana) is holding the 10th Copla Campo – agricultural technology fair, from February 13th to 6th, at its Grains Unit in Piracicaba. The event that brings together the biggest trends and companies in the sector, this year will have as one of its new features, biological products that will be presented by Biotrop, a leading company in biological and natural solutions for agriculture.

According to Jonas Hipolito, the company's marketing and strategy manager, expectations for the fair are high. “COPLACANA’s potential is immense and we believe in the importance of biologicals within this very important channel in Brazil. We will bring producers not only productivity and profitability, but also practical management, sustainability, more cuts and more root development. It will be a win-win for everyone,” he says.

For the event, Biotrop will highlight two high-tech products in biological solutions. One of them will be Biotrio, a powerful growth-promoting inoculant composed of exclusive strains that enhance the biological balance of the soil and crop productivity. Among its benefits is increased productivity, convenience and application flexibility. Furthermore, it accelerates the initial development of crops and increases the root system.

Another highlight of the company is Stimutrop. The simple mineral fertilizer has unique physioactivation characteristics that combine the stimulation of plant development and the growth of beneficial microorganisms in a synergistic process capable of increasing the productivity and longevity of crops.

Among its benefits is the increase in productivity and longevity of crops such as sugar cane and the deepening of the root system. Furthermore, it is a product that improves the efficiency of base fertilizer with great practicality and ease of application. “Piracicaba is a region where sugarcane cultivation is very strong and is the main crop of economic expression. That's why we focused on these two winning products with the proposal of high-tech biological solutions”, says Wilson Kato, agronomist and commercial manager at Biotrop.

About the Fair

In the last edition, Copla Campo received around 4 thousand visitors, a 20% increase in traffic and business expectations reached the R$ 120 million mark. For 2020, the event organizers' perspective is to increase the number of visitors and generate R$150 million in the cooperative's business.

According to Gian Garcia, Biotrop's technical sales representative in the sugarcane and cereals segment, participating in Copla Campo for the first time will be very important, as the fair is already a reference in the Brazilian agribusiness sector and grows more every year. “This event is fundamental in the region, bringing innovation and technology to producers. Furthermore, we will offer special commercial conditions to farmers”, he highlights.

Biotrop will have its own stand at the fair site and its team will demonstrate products and answer questions. “We focus on participating in fairs where we have partners, where customers can interact with our team, learn about our news and solutions. We are always where we can support our partners”, concludes Hipolito.
