Belyan fungicide is displayed at Expodireto 2023

BASF is at Expodireto 2023 with a focus on the Belyan fungicide, which is now part of its product portfolio. Belyan is indicated for the management of the complex of soybean diseases: Asian rust, target spot, cercospora, septoria and powdery mildew.

The company's main recommendation is to use the fungicide on the first application. With a broad spectrum of control and high selectivity, the new product features the exclusive Power Flex technology, capable of adapting to different characteristics of the fungi that attack soybean crops. The company also recommends Blavity fungicide for the second application on soybeans. It stands out in the management of Asian rust, target spot and other diseases. It has the ability to form a double protective barrier against fungi, which provides peace of mind for the farmer.

Soybean seeds

In terms of seeds, BASF showed varieties from the Credenz (CZ) and Soytech (ST) brands:

• CZ 15B70 IPRO - wide geographic adaptation, aggressive root system, good clinging capacity and resistance to phytophthora;

• CZ 15B20 I2X - high productive potential, precocity, tolerance to lodging and resistance to phytophthora;

• CZ 16B17 IPRO - high productive potential, resistance to phytophthora, high grain weight and broad geographic adaptation;

• CZ 15B29 XTD - excellent refuge option, high grain weight, precocity and resistance to phytophthora;

• ST 611 IPRO - presents range of adaptation and productive stability;

• ST 490 I2X - precocity, excellent plant architecture and excellent growth, suitable for higher altitude regions;

• ST 580 I2X - high productive ceiling, suitable for opening planting, high grain weight and resistance to phytophthora;

• ST 622 IPRO - adaptation in a wide region, high production ceiling, stability, tolerance to lodging, suitable for rotation areas with irrigated rice.
