This Tuesday (26/10), the Algodão de Ponta a Ponta event brought together the Brazilian Association of Cotton Producers (Abrapa), the Reserva brand and BASF to discuss the fiber production chain. The main topics of the conversation were the Sou de Algodão movement and the new SouABR, the first large-scale traceability initiative in the national textile chain.
BASF hosted the event. Participants addressed sustainability and trends and challenges in the sector. Júlio Cézar Busato, president of Abrapa, Claudia Moraes, sourcing director of the AR&CO group and Warley Palota, leader of BASF's Cotton Seeds Business, participated.
