Argentina makes applications against locusts

After long days of scanning the equipment of the National Health and Agro-Food Quality Service (Senasa) and the province of Corrientes, on Friday (26/06) it was possible to find the location of the cloud, 90 km west of Curuzú Cuatiá.

At 17:30 pm, phytosanitary treatments were carried out to reduce the locust population.

Requests made by plane were the responsibility of the Plant Production Directorate of the Province of Corrientes.

On Saturday morning (27/06), monitoring and control actions will resume.
