At Wednesday, 9th, specifically, the CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator for Arabica type 6, placed in the capital of São Paulo, closed at R$ 1.555,19/sc, a new nominal record for the series history of Cepea, started in 1996. In real terms, prices are the highest since December 1999 (values ​​deflated by the IGP-DI of Jan/22).

Agents consulted by Cepea believe that producers should negotiate higher volumes only with the start of the 2022/23 harvest, in order to pay for the activities.
