Arabica coffee values continue to fall this month, following the movement observed in October, according to data from Cepea. The CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator for Arabica type 6, placed in the capital of São Paulo, has been operating below R$ 1 thousand per bag since the 1st – this Tuesday, the 8th, the Indicator closed at R$ 934,82/bag of 60 kg, a decline of 7% compared to October 31st.

Cepea researchers point out that the pressure on internal values comes from the favorable climate. With constant rain in the producing regions, crops are developing well, and coffee growers continue to have good expectations for the next 2023/24 harvest, even if it has a negative two-year period.
